Lettuce Mixed Salad Leaves VALUE PACK

(Lactuca sativa)

A delicious blend of mixed salad leaves - quick growing. A value pack with 1500 seeds for large gardens.

When to plant: Late Winter to Autumn.
How to grow: Sow a few seeds in each clump, 5mm (1/4")deep.Cover with a fine layer of seed raising mix or soil, water gently. Feed with liquid fertiliser every 10-14 days. Water often as lettuce have shallow roots. Cut leaves when 5-7.5cm (2-3")high just about the crown. Plants regrow for up to 4 cuts. (Varieties grow at different rates giving a 'different salad' at each cut and a longer harvest).
Harvest: 8-10 weeks.
